In our personal lives as well when running our business, we try to be as environmentally friendly as possible and constantly review our decisions.

Here are some of our efforts:

• We use refillable containers for toiletries
• We use environmentally friendly dishwasher tablets and cleaning products as well as biodegradable softeners
• We choose fabric napkins over single use paper ones
• We are currently phasing out our one use slippers and will replace them with washable ones
• We produce electricity with our 3.6 kw solar array
• We are actively trying to reduce the purchase of plastic packaging and ordering organically grown fruit & vegetables from Riverford
• We are recycling were we can
• We always try to repair broken/ defect items
• Our gas and electricity is sourced from renewable energy providers
• We have our own compost bin
• We use a clothes horse were possible
